       Lenny and Deana met while seeking job skills and placement services at Goodwill.  They soon married and found employment.  "Without the help of Goodwill and the skills we learned, we wouldn't have been able to support our family or even pay the rent!" 

Alba Yoder

After moving to Wooster from Uruguay, Alba married and had a child.  However, she soon found herself in an unstable situation and left the marriage.  She learned  learned English and started Goodwill's employment training classes.  Alba is now working in Human Resources using her bilingual skills.  "I want to thank the staff of Goodwill who have been working with me.  What everyone from Goodwill did for me will always be in my heart.  I can't say enough about the good people at Goodwill!"

Lenny Philips

Referred to goodwill by The Bureau of Vocational Rehabilitation, Lenny thought he wanted to work in and office and went thought he goodwill computer classes while working with Goodwill staff to search for employment.  "I hadn't typed since 6th grade and started out at 3 works a minute but by the time I graduated, I was typing 30!"  Lenny became employed at a Goodwill store and found that he loves customer service.
