After moving to Wooster from Uruguay, Alba married and had a child. However, she soon found herself in an unstable situation and left the marriage.  Eventually, she learned English and looked for employment training through Goodwill.  After gaining employment she stated, “I want to say thank you to all of the staff of Goodwill who have been working with me, helping to build my language and work skills. What everyone from Goodwill did for me will always be in my heart.”
